When do you call?

An electrical company is called if problems arise with lighting.

In case of a power failure – If the power goes out when an appliance is plugged in or the ceiling light is turned on, unplug it or turn off the switch. Then turn on the relay in the fuse group. Contact the caretaker by email if the circuit breaker continues to trip. (Avoid turning on the same thing again) The heating engineer will then repair the fault during normal working hours.
Unnecessary call-outs to an electrician outside normal working hours will be charged as a call-out fee (the amount will typically be 4,000 DKK and upwards).

Sewer service is called if sudden problems with drains occur.

In case of sewer problems – if the drain is blocked and the sink, shower, or toilet cannot drain water, you may advantageously try to clean the drain or toilet yourself (it is your responsibility to maintain the drains during your tenancy period).

Otherwise, a plunger is very effective for loosening any blockages in the drain.

It is not recommended to use the toilet or shower before the issue has been resolved. If you cannot solve the drain problem, you should send an email to the caretaker, who will handle it on the next working day. You can always use the toilets in the common building at Snogebæksvej 47.

Unnecessary call-outs to the sewer service outside normal working hours will be charged as a call-out fee (the amount will typically be 4,000 DKK and upwards).
