Rooms near the city’s educational institutions

Welcome to Vilh. Kiers Kollegium, which is the second largest hall of residence in Aarhus. Here 30 students have their own room with private toilet/shower facilities in each of the 12 buildings. The location in Hasle, in the west of Aarhus, makes it easy for you to reach the different educational institutions in the city. The University and DMJX are situated about 3 km away, and Aarhus BSS only a kilometer from the hall of residence. On a bicycle you can easly get around the city and when you get back home, you can park it in the bicycle cellar. If you want to take public transportation instead, you can get on one of the busses that drives you almost to your front door.

There is a terrace outside each of the buildings, which can be used by all residents, just like the gym, the common house, the fire ring and the beach volley field are for everyone to use.

At Vilh. Kiers Kollegium there are 630 rooms each on approx. 22 m2.
The room in itself is approx. 12 m2 and is equipped with floor carpets and a large sliding window. The rental has its own small entrance with fixed cabinets and a table, as well as a small toilet with shower facilities. There is a shared kitchen, which is equipped with cutlery, plates, casseroles, frying pans and so forth. There are usually spices as well. Each block has a terrace with table and chairs, a bicycle cellar, a storage room with a shelf for each resident and a drying room for laundry.

Smoking: Not allowed indoors.
