Stay at the dorm

Would you like to continue your lease at Skjoldhøjkollegiet after finishing your studies?

Do you want to extend your rental agreement?

  • And are you not currently enrolled in education?

Stay living here even if you are not enrolled in education:

If your apartment has not already been rented out, you have the option to stay until 1 September 2027 (move-out 14 days prior), even if you are no longer an active student.

If you wish to take advantage of this offer and extend your tenancy agreement, please complete the document below and send it to mg@kkia.dk.

When we have received your email, we will send you a termination notice for 1 September 2027, provided that your request is approved. The Housing Office reserves the right to رفض (reject) an extension of your tenancy if you have rent arrears or ongoing complaint cases.

You can, of course, always terminate your housing under the standard terms (6 weeks’ notice and move-out 14 days before).

If you start a new study programme no later than summer 2027 and wish to remain living here, you must send an email no later than 1 August 2027 with your admission letter and a short explanation that you wish to stay.

The above is possible because Aarhus Municipality has granted an exemption from the nomination rules at Skjoldhøjkollegiet.
