Each resident is responsible for cleaning either a corridor, common area, or staircase. Which resident is responsible for cleaning is stated in the cleaning schedule, which can be found in the cleaning rooms and follows a rotation system.
Cleaning of an assigned task for a given shared area (corridor, staircase) must be carried out in the same week that your apartment is listed. Since the caretaker checks the cleaning on Wednesday morning, it is advisable to clean on Tuesday. If the result is not as expected during the caretaker’s inspection, you will receive a text message with the opportunity to correct the cleaning by Thursday morning at 8:00 a.m.
If the cleaning is still not approved, a cleaning company will be called in to carry out the task.
Clean floor mops can be collected in the laundry room. When you have finished cleaning, it is important that you also return the dirty cloths to the laundry room. There is a basket for clean and used floor mops respectively. The person responsible for cleaning the community house ensures that the dirty floor mops are washed before the next cleaning round. If anything is missing or the floor mops are not clean, please contact the estate committee.
If soap, new vacuum cleaner bags, or any equipment is missing or damaged, please contact the caretaker.
Payment for cleaning not carried out
Payment for cleaning carried out by the external cleaning company will be charged together with the next month’s rent to the responsible resident.
Empty apartments
In cases where apartments listed on the cleaning schedule are not rented out, a cleaning company will NOT be called in to carry out the missing cleaning.
Obligation
Please remember that all residents are obligated to actively contribute to ensuring that corridors and stairwells are kept clean, in accordance with the rental agreement and the maintenance regulations.
