Welcome to Steen Billes Torv Kollegiet, which offers both single rooms, 1-room and 2-room apartments. The hall of residence is situated in the city area called Trøjborg, and this is a very popular location, as you have both the University, grocery stores, the city, the forest and the beach within close reach. Steen Billes Torv Kollegiet is a small and cozy midtown dormitory that accommodate 30 students, and offers shared facilities such as a laundry room and a common room. When you rent a room, you share kitchen, toilet, shower and a small balcony with 2-4 of the other residents.

There are plenty of opportunities to get to know the other residents, eat dinner together or meet for a board game if you feel like it. We hope, you will enjoy your stay here with us.

Rental info

Steen Billes Torv Kollegiet includes:
16 rooms, approx. 24 m2
12 1-room apartments, approx. 28 m2
2 2-room apartments, approx. 51 m2Description: All rentals are unfurnished except for window blinds. There is parquet flooring. If you rent a room, you are going to share kitchen and toilet/shower with 2-4 other residents. It is randomly chosen whether your roommates will be male or female. All apartments have private kitchen and toilet/shower facilities.
Rent: Depends on the rental type (for more information press “Apply for rental”).
Smoking: Not allowed indoors. Residents, who move in after 15.7.2022 are not allowed to smoke in their rentals.
Included in the rent: The use of electricity, water, heat and internet.
Pets: Not allowed.

About the dorm

Parking

At the residence, we have our own small but nice parking area. We share the area with our neighbours in the large white building. The five parking spaces facing the residence belong to us – the others belong to the white building.

The garden

The residence has a garden that may be freely used by the residents. There is space for barbecuing and socializing together, or for playing volleyball, Kubb, or swingball. Various equipment for these activities can be found in the bicycle basement and the common room. The garden includes permanent benches and a grill.

Storage room

All accommodation units share a storage room with the rest of the floor for storage purposes.

Common room

The residence has a wonderful common room with plenty of activity options.
The common room can be used for shared events such as parties, table football tournaments, movie nights, and gaming evenings. You can also book the common room privately by writing your name in the calendar located on the notice board by the main entrance.

Please note: Due to exam periods, the common room may not be used for parties or other noisy events in January, May, June, and December.

Please remember to clean up after yourself 🙂

Laundry and key tags

We have two washing machines and one tumble dryer, which can be used with a laundry key chip. Along with your house key, you will receive two key tags. Both can be used for the doors, but only one of them can be used in the laundry room.
