Apartments at Nørreport

Nørreport Kollegiet

Welcome to Nørreport Kollegiet, which consists of different types of 1- and 2-room apartments. With a location in the heart of Aarhus, you have everything you need close by. Everything is a short bicycle trip away or reachable by foot.

A handful of the city’s educational institutions are situated within a range of 2 kilometers. The Aarhus School of Architecture is just beside the hall of residence. Many of the students in Aarhus visit the large library, DOKK1, which is located down by the habor, when they want some quiet study time – you can reach that destination within a few minutes. Grocery stores are easy to find in the area and if you have a lazy day, take-away food arrives with ease.

About the dorm

Guest room

If you have overnight guests, the dorm has a guest room in the basement. The guest room can be booked. It includes a double bed and two fold-out guest beds. Please see the rules for using the guest room in the document folder, which can be found in the top menu.

Garden & Cleaning Day

From time to time, activities are arranged that everyone is welcome to join. The garden and cleaning day is mandatory for all residents. On this day, the courtyard is refreshed and prepared for summer, and the hall of residence is thoroughly cleaned. Sometimes the section board and attendees arrange pizza afterwards. It may also end with a party – it is the residents who decide which activities take place at the hall of residence 🙂

Common room

The common room is located in the basement and consists of a large kitchen and two spacious living rooms. One of the living rooms is a TV lounge, while the other is mainly used for dining. There is also table football and various board games available. The common room is the natural gathering point for residents when there are parties and other events, but it can also be booked for private arrangements. Please see the rules for using the common room in the resident handbook, which you can find in the top menu.
