Mindegade Kollegiet

Mindegade Kollegiet is centrally located with the city life, cafés, the shopping street and the small city river just outside the front door. The large city library, DOKK1, which is perfect for studying, is situated just a couple of hundred meters away from the hall of residence. The central station is also only a short walk away.

When living at Mindegade Kollegiet you just do not have to worry about distances – everything is close by. The large roof terrace with an amazing view of the city from above, can be used by all residents, for example when meeting up on the long summer nights. Moreover, there is a laundry room, a common room and two parking spaces available for everyone to use. From time to time, the residents arrange social gatherings like movie nights and christmas dinner for those, who wish to participate. Welcome.

Rental info

At Mindegade Kollegiet there are 33 apartments.
11 1-room apartments, approx. 28-30 m2.
15 shareable 2-room apartments, approx. 45-50 m2.
regular 2-room apartments, approx. 45-51 m2.
Description: Many of the 2-room apartments are designed with a main entrance that leads to two private rooms and shared kitchen and toilet/shower facilities. You can apply for these apartements as one person or as a couple. There are parquet flooring in all apartments and they are unfurnished except for window blinds and fixed cabinets.
Rent: Depends on the rental type (for more information press “Apply for rental”).
Included in the rent: The use of electricity, water, heat and internet.
Smoking: Not allowed indoors. Residents, who move in after 1.2.2021 are not allowed to smoke in their own rentals.
Pets: Not allowed.

About the dorm

Rooftop terrace

At the top of Mindegade 9 there are 3 rooftop terraces (1 large + 2 small). It is possible to rent the small terrace opposite 9, 4th floor; however, this is not allowed in the period from 1 May to 30 June. Please read the rental rules on the notice board.

There are garden furniture and a gas grill on the rooftop terrace. When using the grill, 10 DKK must be sent for gas to 91487 via MobilePay.

Parking in the yard

The courtyard has space for 2 cars. The parking spaces are not fixed/reserved, but may be used by both residents with cars and visitors to the hall of residence. Please place a note in your windshield with your name and apartment number, so people can contact you if you need to move your car. Both cars and bicycles must be parked appropriately. Bicycles should be placed in the bicycle basement or in the courtyard within the marked areas.

Laundry

A chip is required to use the laundry room in the basement next to the common room. Washing times can be booked online.

Common room

In the common room there are many different board games, a foosball table, projector with screen, sound system, etc. available for use. There are several tables and chairs available, as well as a large sofa and several beanbags. In the right-hand cabinet under the screen you will find a Wii with associated games. The cabinet is locked, and the key can be borrowed from the person responsible for the common room or a member of the board.

Kitchen
The common room kitchen is fully equipped with crockery and other items, which may also be used. You will also find dishcloths, tea towels, towels, hand soap, toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tablets, a dishwasher, a large fridge with freezer, a stove, and a microwave. These are also freely available when using the common room.

Booking
It is possible to rent the room for private events (parties etc.), which costs 50 DKK. It cannot be rented for parties during the periods 15 December – 31 January and 1 May – 30 June. Requests can be made by leaving a note with your contact details and the desired booking date either in the common room manager’s mailbox or in person.
