Åpark Kollegiet

Åpark Kollegiet is centrally located close to many of Aarhus’ educational institutions, tourist attractions and the city center. At the hall of residence, you can rent a bright and spacious student apartment with private kitchen and toilet/shower facilities.

With a short distance to the heart of Aarhus, you can easily get around by foot or on a bicycle. As a resident at Åpark Kollegiet, you can use the shared laundry room, the gym or the study room as much as you like. Close to the hall of residence, you can find a Føtex Food store, where you can do your daily grocery shopping.  Aarhus University is located approx. 3 kilometers away and the central station 2 kilometers away.

Description: Each apartment has a private kitchen and toilet/shower facilities. the rentals are unfurnished, but there is a white wardrobe on wheels in each one. The kitchen has an oven, ceramic cooking plates, a fridge (122 ltr.) and a freezer (18 ltr.). There are elevators at the hall of residence.
Rent: Depends on the rental type (for more information press “Apply for rental”).
Included in the rent: The use of water and internet.
Pets: Not allowed.
Smoking: Not allowed indoors. Residents, who move in after 1.2.2021 are not allowed to smoke in their rentals.

Committees

Social Committee
The Åparken Social Committee was established on 13 November 2013 with the purpose of organising and communicating information about social events and parties at Åparken Kollegiet.

Fitness Room Committee
The Fitness Room Committee is responsible for the dormitory’s fitness room between building 1 and 3. If you would like to join the committee and help ensure that our fitness room is up to date with equipment and similar, you can contact: aaparkkollegietsbestyrelse@kollegiekontoret.dk

Common room and shared facilities

At Åparken Kollegiet there are a number of shared facilities that can be freely used by residents.

These include:

Common room
The common room between building 3 and 5 can be used by all residents. It includes a kitchen, refrigerator, oven, TV, sofa, and toilet. The room can be booked for social events and private parties via aaparkenbooking.dk.

Study room
The study room can be booked via the calendar at the door. Please state your apartment number and time. Each apartment may have up to three future bookings. If you do not show up within 15 minutes, the booking will be cancelled.

Fitness room
The fitness room is free for all residents. Please tidy up, wipe down the machines, and only use indoor shoes. Turn off lights and music after use. For faults or suggestions, contact the board.

Activity room
The activity room can be used by residents and their guests. Please remember to tidy up and take care of the equipment. The room cannot be rented together with the common room and is therefore always available for residents.

Bicycles
There is a locked and covered bicycle parking area. Bicycles must be placed in the racks and are not allowed in the corridors. In the basement there is a bicycle station with hooks, an air compressor, and tools.

Other facilities
Shared terraces on each floor, a paid laundry room with automatic detergent dosing, storage rooms in the basement, cleaning rooms, and the possibility to borrow a hammer drill from the caretaker.
