Rooms and apartments
in green surroundings

Welcome to Skjoldhøjkollegiet which is situated in the city area Brabrand in green and cozy surroundings. The hall of residence includes rooms, 1-room and 2-room apartments for rent. You do not have to worry about the fixed expenses, such as electricity, water, heat and internet, as they are already included in the rent. There is a grocery store at the hall of residence, so the daily shopping is easily done. There is also a bar, a music room, a sauna, a TV-room and a laundry room. Skjoldhøjkollegiet is placed outside of the city center, but if you need to go there, the yellow city bus will take you right there. There are many possibilities here to socialize with the other residents, you can for example join the garden club or the brew club. At this hall of residence, pets are allowed.

The Rentals

Skjoldhøjkollegiet includes:
480 rooms with private toilet/shower. 108 rooms with shared toilet/shower.
32 small 1-room apartments (type 10). 32 large 1-room apartments (type 11).
36 1-room apartments (type 12). 96 shareable 2-rooms apartments (type 30).
9 shareable 2-room apartments (type 31). 54 large apartments (type 40).

Description: In the furniture depot you can borrow furniture free of charge.
Rent: Depends on the rental type (for more information press "Apply for rental").
Included in the rent: The use of electricity, water, heat and internet.
Pets: Allowed.

Solidarity and activities

At Skjoldhøjkollegiet, there is a wide range of activities and clubs to join if you feel like it. See the list here.

The following societies exist at the moment: Café Hygge, Haveforeningen, Kreatinget, Skjoldborgen, Skjoldhøgen, Skjoldhøj Bryggerlaug, Skjoldhøj Reuse, SKMU, Skjoldpower.

The Bar

Come join us for a game of table football, billard or beer pong. All residents over 18 can buy alcohol in the bar.
Remember: you are not allowed to bring your own beverages.

Opening hours:
Friday and Saturday 10:00 pm - 02:00 am.
Some Thursdays.

You can borrow the bar for if you're having a big party. To borrow the bare, you must pay a 500 DKK fee. Information about booking can be found on the Facebook page.

Laundry

Access: You need a password to activate the laundry tag. Please visit the caretaker's office to get the password. When you have the password, you need to go to the laundry room and activate the tag in the system. Note that the activation process is in English. Please help each other.

How to: The soap is automatically dispensed into the washing machine. Remember to empty your pockets.

Internet

Go online: In your residence, there is a router to access the internet. You need to plug it into the wall and wait a moment. You now have access to the internet. The Wifi-name and password is stated on the router.
